Brazil XC
Those reliably smooth 4-6 up climbs to a cool 7,000ft
cloud base, and stunning landscapes and nightlife are calling
pilots back for another flying tour of this great country. We
will be spending 3 weeks flying at this incredible site at the
best time of year, from 16th of February to the 7th March. You
have the option of 2 week or 3 week courses which includes mountain
transport, plus the intimate briefings, air-to-air training and
lectures. Email jocky for full course info.

Laragne XC
Home of the famous Chabre open, Laragne is a great
place to fly as it has wide valley systems surrounded by peaks
and ridges, which enable us to fly a variety of tasks incorporating
both mountain and flatland flying without the worry of valley
winds. We will be staying with David and Rachel from Alez-up in
Ribier, who are experts in local weather and sites. Their farmhouse
accommodation is superbly designed and perfect for briefings and
chilling out afterwards. It even has a swimming pool.

Annecy XC
In May we are off to fly in the chocolate box setting
of Annecy. This trip is the best way to start the season and dust
off the cobwebs in relaxed and beautiful surroundings with some
great flying potential. This course will be concentrating on airtime
and relaxation so we will visit some great sites and have multiple
take offs each day. It will be run by Chris White and Tim Johns
who are great mates of mine and have been working with me in France,
Spain, Russia and Brazil for over 5 years. Both have a lot of
experience flying in and around Annecy and they are incredibly
gifted pilots and instructors.

Turkey XC
Turkey is famous for oludeniz and the turquoise
coast, but it also holds another lure for pilots. High cloud bases
and great XC flying potential. On a normal flight we take off
from Babadag, (6,000ft), inland over the spurs of Mendos, into
the wide Kemer valley and onto Akdag, (9,000ft). Then big flights
toward Denizli are possible. We also finish the course by flying
out and return along the coast and into Butterfly valley, which
will probably be one of the most memorable flights you have ever
done.

Weekenders XC
The idea is you email us and we put your name down.
When we have an idea on a date and place that looks good we look
for a cheap flight and then email the group with the details and
those who can make it get back to us and book the flight. Then
we're off, a mobile crack flying unit, flexible enough to maximise
the weather and find the best sites. This will minimise messing
around and maximise flying time and quality.
October - St Andre, France XC long weekend
So get your name down and we'll be in touch with the first mission!

Fly-ins XC
Fly-ins can be arranged by any group or club.
The cost is only £35 per day per pilot. Just call
the office and book a suitable weekend for your group and pop
up to Cumbria or Jocky can visit your flying area. Fly-ins are
aimed at getting pilots together for a weekend to hopefully, set
mini comp' tasks, with airborne radio tuition in a fun and learning
environment. There will also be briefing and de-briefing sessions,
together with seminars on XC, competition and S.I.V. This is also
a perfect opportunity of the chance to demo gliders and compare
them against others.
